Customs begins e-auction process
The Nigeria Customs Service has started its e-auction process, according to a statement issued on Monday by Spokesman of the Service, Joseph Attah.
“Following the re-engineering of the Nigeria Customs Service e-auction process, the electronic portal is now opened (live) for interested persons with valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) to log in and bid for items of their choice,” the statement read in part.
It stated that the bidding period for every week is 48 hours, beginning from Monday 12 noon to Wednesday 12 noon.
It added that the fully automated process would require no physical intervention of any kind to win, and bidders can gain access via the link : app.trade.gov.ng/eauction.
