The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Wednesday disclosed that five ships each carrying frozen fish and buckwheat are among 20 vessels expected to arrive at the Lagos ports with various food items and petroleum product.
Contained in its Daily Shipping Position document, the NPA said the vessels should arrive from Jan. 13 to Jan. 25, 2021, sailing into different port terminals including ENL, APMT, GDNL, and ABTL among others.
A breakdown shows that while five ships each should arrive the ports with frozen fish and buckwheat, general cargo would arrive in three ships, and two ships each would bring in bulk malt and base oil.
The remaining three ships are to arrive the ports each carrying bulk sugar, salt and containers.
Meanwhile, the document shows that six motor vessels; three ships carrying containers, two carrying buckwheat and one carrying sugar have arrived and waiting to berth.
Two motor tankers carrying premium motor spirit (PMS) have arrived sine 17th and 27th December, 2020 and still waiting to berth.
